Charging compatibility, without the guesswork.

EVCompat exists because the same car can have a different plug depending on the model year — and most buying guides ignore that.

What we do

We compile US-market EV charging specs: the AC onboard charger limit, the DC peak, the connector, Supercharger access and the adapter required. Each car page shows the year breaks where the hardware changed.

How we source data

Manufacturer specification pages, owner's manuals, window stickers and fueleconomy.gov. Where a spec varies by trim, we pick the most common configuration and say so. Every page carries a last-verified date.

Editorial independence

Affiliate links do not decide which products we recommend. A charger is listed because it fits the car's electrical limits, not because it pays a higher commission. See our affiliate disclosure.

Corrections

If a spec is wrong, tell us. Email hello@evcompat.com with the page URL and the source for the correction.
